East Loch Roag Historical Society

East Loch Roag Historical Society covers the areas of Callanish, Breasclete, Garynahine and Linshader.  Its main objective is to record the memories of these villages through its magazine, Cuimhnich. 

The Flannan Isles exhibition at Breasclete Community Centre is open: April-October, Monday-Saturday, 2pm-4pm, and at other times by appointment

East Loch Roag Historical Society covers the areas of Callanish, Breasclete, Garynahine and Linshader.  The Society’s main objective is to record the memories of these villages and publish them through its magazine Cuimhnich. The magazine is published annually in the week before Christmas and is made available through local shops and venues. 

The Society’s exhibition on the mystery of the Flannan Isles lighthouse keepers in 1900 can be seen at Breasclete Community Centre.
