Exhibition Proposals

Our Special Exhibition gallery in Stornoway and the Museum gallery in Benbecula both host special exhibitions.  These range from national touring exhibitions to inhouse curated exhibitions, to community exhibitions.

If you have an exhibition that you would like to propose, please apply using this form.

All proposals will be considered by the Exhibitions Committee which meets quarterly who will assess applications using the Decision Criteria.

Mini Displays

We also have space for mini displays in the museum foyer and the archive interface. Please use the proposal form to submit ideas.

Advance Planning

Please be aware that we usually plan two years in advance and that our timetables are often also busy further ahead.
