Work or Volunteer With Us

Information will be posted here about our current vacancies. We are Scotland’s most north-westerly local authority museum, archive and archaeology service, located in the spectacular Outer Hebrides, renowned for their clean environment and awe-inspiring beaches. So if the prospect of joining a small, friendly team working on interesting projects in a unique setting appeals to you, keep checking here.

We have in the past worked with sector partners such as Museums Galleries Scotland, The British Museum and the Scottish Council on Archives to provide opportunities for accredited or structured training schemes. We also have opportunities from time to time for short-term student or volunteer placements. This largely depends on the resource within our core team.
